Please help me and my 13y grandson find a home.

UPDATE: We are officially HOMELESS, have been since 7/1/23. CalWorks supplied some monies for motel, only lasted for 13 days. Currently using donations for food, gas, 4 more days of shelter, and rest will be used for deposit/move and/or emergencies. (When needed) Was offered a trailer for 30 days (waiting for space). Your generous donations are still needed $5, $10, $20 every little bit helps me and my grandson while being homeless and desperately searching for Affordable Permanent residence.

My name is Debra Brown, I'm 65y Disabled and on SSI/SDI. I've been raising both my grandchildren since birth. My granddaughter graduated 2022 got married and has moved out on her own. Meanwhile, my 13y grandson and I continued to live in the residence we've been in for the past 8 years (currently Homeless as of 6/30/23). The last 8 years we've had several repairs that needed to be done, water heater went out 2x (9 days in Dec), no heat (Oct/Nov), no air conditioning 4x (all in July), refriderator broke down lost $$$ food 3 different times (July), (I replaced 3 refrigerators) linoleum peeling (before I moved in never replaced floor), carpet so cheap it's wearing in spots (not normal wear and tear), was new when moved in, pipes bursting flooding 3 units, black mold has set in, rats in the walls, etc. We've put up with alot living here, drunken noisy neighbors, drug raids, but not alot of affordable housing in Nevada County, like currently. But Now was forced to move "90 day No Fault Notice" so they can come in make the residence livable and raise it $600-$700 per month!! Which is the current going rates as of today for a 2bdrm! ($1800-$2200). Application fees are outrageous when your filling out 5-6, etc at a time. Gas to look, and then get rejected because my housing assistance won't pay the outrageous rent. I will need help with a deposit also. So please help us get by while trying to find a home and not be completely homeless on this journey. Thank you Community for your time and consideration.
