Early last year, I finally came to terms with the fact that I am a transgender man. It has not been easy but, thanks to the support of so many people, I am on testosterone and finally beginning to see someone I recognise in the mirror. The standout issue with my dysphoria, however, is that I still have a female chest. My wife and I have been trying to put money aside in order for me to have top surgery, to remove my breasts and greatly enhance how I view myself and how I am able to interact with the world. However, between my wife's brain surgeries and the Covid-19 pandemic affecting work, this has been extremely difficult.
At the moment I currently pay around £50 pounds a month for my prescriptions and other services including blood tests.
In order for me to receive this treatment, it costs approximately 450 to be referred for a talk with a surgeon. The talk with the surgeon costs a further 150 pounds and then of course the surgery itself along with travel.

I'm hoping to get my surgery done with Miles Berry in London. This can vary in price depending on how long the operation takes. This means the price can vary from 6k to 8.5k. It's a lot of money but in my opinion so worth it in every way.
I understand that it is a difficult time financially for a great deal of people right now, but should you be able to donate to this operation, I would be forever appreciative. Even if you cannot donate, if you can share this on your social media, I would be very grateful
