Our Maya is almost 14 years old.

She is not just a dog — she is the soul of our family.

Kind, cheerful, and endlessly loving…

She loves people, enjoys every walk, and never misses a chance to share her warmth. Maya is a true lover of life. Even now, she looks at us with the same joy and trust.

But recently, something terrible happened.

Suddenly, Maya lost the use of her back legs.

We rushed her to the clinic. The diagnosis — a herniated disc.

Without surgery, she would suffer from constant pain and lose the ability to walk forever.

We immediately agreed to urgent surgery.

So far, we have already paid:

CT scan — €600

surgery — €1400

hospital stay — €360

plus tests, neurologist visits, and rehabilitation

We took a 6-month payment plan and borrowed money from relatives.

But the treatment is not over.

Maya now urgently needs rehabilitation and physiotherapy.

The cost is about €1000 per week.

The neurologist gives a positive prognosis.

Maya has a real chance to recover — to run, to enjoy life, and to greet us at the door again.

But we cannot do it without your help.

We are an ordinary family: husband and wife, Otavio and Olga, and two teenage children.

Our home is also a refuge for people in difficult situations — we are helping those who are going through hard times.
