This fundraiser is for the beloved goldendoodle Maui and his family. On November 30, 2024 Maui was senselessly and intentionally shot by someone who is notorious for gun violence and threatening animals. Maui was shot in front of his owner, by the gunman at close range, requiring extensive emergency surgery. Maui is currently being treated for multiple life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition. This fundraiser is to help Maui and his loving family cover a fraction of the medical expenses and continued care that will be necessary for his recovery. The Cecil Family is a vital and beloved part of our Viera community and needs our support, love and prayers as they navigate this difficult and heartbreaking time.
