Please help Matt's battle with cancer

Hello, my name is Matti, and I am the daughter of Matt and Dayna Urias. I am starting this fundraiser for my family to help with medical bills and other expenses during this difficult time.

My dad Matt was diagnosed with Renal cell carcinoma ( Stage 4 Kidney cancer) in September of this year. The cancer metastasized, and he had a tumor in his head that they removed on October 6th. Since being diagnosed, there have been many appointments, x-rays, medications, radiation therapy, immunotherapy and much more. The cancer eroded his spine, causing him to have a spinal fracture and another surgery on November 18th. This is just the beginning of a very long and hard battle my dad will have to face. My dad has worked very hard his whole life and has worked hard to support my sister Katie, my mom and me and give us the best life. He is a good man who was given a tough battle out of his control.

My dad has not been able to work since July and will not be able to return to work. My mom, Dayna, works from home, but given the circumstances, she has not been able to go back to work entirely and has had to take time off to process this and to help my dad, take him to his appointments and care for him. In the last two months, my parents have had a lot to deal with and figure out a new way of life. Medical bills are expensive; unfortunately, regular bills do not stop for anything. With that being said, money is not something my parents should also have to be worried or stressed out about. They both have such big hearts.
