My name is Hélène Roy, a 44-year-old resident of the Paris area, France. For the past 15 years, I have been married to Shadi Alzaqzouq, a Palestinian. Over this time, I've developed a deep and lasting connection with his family in Gaza, especially as the conflict has escalated. Due to the severe limitations imposed by the current banking system in Gaza, Shadi's family cannot directly initiate a fundraising campaign. That’s why I am stepping in to raise funds on their behalf.

Abdul Hadi Alzaqzouq is a 41-year-old resident of Gaza. He is a devoted husband and father to four daughters, ranging in age from 2 to 12 years old.

Abdul Hadi's life, once stable with a secure job and a home, has been upended by the ongoing conflict. His youngest daughter, Massa, who is just 2 years old, suffers from serious medical conditions, including a deviated pelvis and bone issues. Despite undergoing a crucial surgery before the conflict intensified, the procedure failed. With the war breaking out, Abdul Hadi has been unable to seek necessary medical treatment abroad for Massa.

The war has devastated Abdul Hadi’s life. His home is destroyed, his job is lost, and his family’s future hangs in the balance. With the current situation, Abdul Hadi faces an enormous challenge: securing $30,000 to cover the costs of coordinating travel out of Gaza for his family of six. This amount includes $5,000 per person to safely exit the war-torn area. Without these funds, their hope of seeking essential medical care for Massa and rebuilding their lives is at risk.

We’re reaching out for your support to help Abdul Hadi cover the costs of safely evacuating his family and getting crucial medical treatment for his daughter, Massa. Every donation, large or small, will make a big difference in their lives.

Funds will be transferred from my French account to Abdul Hadi’s bank in Gaza. This method has reliably supported his family throughout the conflict.
