Please Help Maryann Save Pup Mia: Urgent Surgeries Needed
Donation protected
My name is Christie and I have created this GoFundMe account specifically for my best friend's mother-in-law, Maryann Johnson.
She is the most caring and loving person. She is extremely active in several community-based missing animal groups on Facebook. She is always helping the community with reuniting these missing animals with their loved ones. If she is unable to help, she is always offering prayers and sending positive thoughts to these unfortunate pet families.
She understands the importance of reuniting a fur baby to their loved ones as she views her fur babies as her family, her children, and loves and cares for them immensely.
Moving on to her story;
Maryann currently has two pups and two kitties. One of her pups, Mia, has been the light during the darkness and offers love when it is most needed. She has a gentle soul and loves everyone, even after a rough start. Mia is only four and a half years old. Maryann was recently given the terrible news of Mia needing a tibial plateau leveling osteotomy to BOTH of her hind legs. This has been devastating for Maryann. She is not ready to say goodbye. She also does not want to see her baby in pain anymore. She is currently doing her very best at controlling her pain with medications. However, the longer she waits to get surgery for Mia, the worse this condition will become.
Unfortunately, for Maryann, life has become an active rollercoaster and several unexpected life changes have overtaken her financial means. She has applied for a CareCredit card but they are only willing to loan $1200.00. Knowing the emotional and financial burden she is currently dealing with and is now facing the possible loss of her fur baby. But, let’s not let that happen!!!!
Maryann is not looking for a handout, she is more so looking for small donations from several people to help cover the initial cost of these surgeries. She does not want to make anyone feel they are obligated to donate by any means. She is just hoping to find the financial means to at least schedule Mia's first surgery. If we can get together as a community and show our support with a dollar or two each, maybe we can help give back to her for all of the continued support she shows for our fur babies.
If you are unable to help financially, simply sharing this donation page to friends, family, and so on is still extremely helpful.
Thanks in advance for your support, whether its of monetary value or not, we still appreciate it.
