Hello, my name is Martin Noe. I live in Orange County, NY, and I need your help.

For the last 24 years, I've been struggling with diabetes, and the last several years with heart and coronary artery disease. Approximately 10 years ago, I lost my vision in one eye due to years of being diabetic, but I was still able to manage to support myself financially to a certain degree. That all changed in recent months as I am slowly starting to lose vision in my other eye, and there's practically nothing I can do anymore to support myself financially. I am for the most part confined to my home. I am essentially totally blind at night, and even during the day, my little vision I still have in that one eye is extremely poor. What all that means for me is that I haven't been able to support myself financially for the last 7-8 months or so. I'm now months behind in rent. I have accumulated debt from borrowing money to help support myself, but not only am I not able to repay the loans I've accumulated so far, but I don't have any new resources to turn to for help. I am at a loss at this point, mired in debt, and struggling to make ends meet.

I am hereby pleading to your good hearts, Rachmunim Benei Rachmunim, if possible, to help out with a donation, whatever you can to help me get back on my feet, so I can pay back months of rent and put food in my mouth. I've tried very hard for as long as possible not to ask strangers for help, but at this point, I don't have any other options.

In the coming months, I may go through surgery on the one remaining eye to at the very least stop its progression to total blindness, and hopefully at the same time improve my vision somewhat where I can try again to do something to support myself.
