Please help Martin 'hammer' cancer. COYI

We have started this appeal to generate some funds to try and relieve some financial pressure on our friend, and valued colleague Martin(34yr), who works with us at the YMCA store in Carmarthen.

Martin has recently received a life changing diagnosis of stage 3 oesophagus cancer.

It has unfortunately spread into his back and lymphatic system, removing, at the moment, the option of surgery.

Martin who is originally from East London, 6'5", a life long West Ham fan and a lover of German Shepard dogs, has been in store as a volunteer for over a year, and recently employed due to his hard work, infectious spirit, sense of humour and positive, can do, attitude.

These character traits are going to be integral on the journey Mart has been forced to undertake over the coming months, and future.

We ask for donations of any size towards a target to assist Mart and his family at this difficult time. These are to go towards travel costs etc, and just relieve some financial pressures.

Martin is positive and ready for the fight, but will need support from us all.
