Please Help Marley To Recover

MARLEY UPDATE!

29/2/25

So vet has been today

Marley has had an ultrasound scan, internal examination, all his observations done

And..........

It's looking promising ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The vet has said that the high worm count he had when he was wormed has caused alot of trauma to his belly and the weight will take a fair time to increase and he needs extra nutrition now in his feeds to give him the extra help to gain some weight

He has had a worm count done today aswell, so hopefully have results next week.

Luckily he didn't have to have the tummy tap which is a massive relief!

Vet has said that he feels with time and medication Marley is going to make it!

I am so so over the moon and relieved I can't tell you

I've hardly slept or eaten for weeks!

His medication is ongoing, and he may need more bloods once worm count comes back

But it's a positive day peeps! I am so happy for my boy!

I am going to be paying what is there so far to the vets next week, and will continue to do so whilst he is on medication.

I want to thank everyone who continues to support us, has been a shoulder for me to cry on and ears to listen to me stressing my brain out.

UPDATE....

So

Blood results show Marley has really low protein in his blood, and high white blood cells

His liver and kidneys are clear

Vet said he needs ultra sound, tummy tap to drain fluid, something put up his bottom to see what's going on there and a a drain on his scrotum to see what's happening

So vet is coming out Friday morning to do all this

Plus he has to have more bloods taken

FIRST POST.......

I've really had to think about doing this as have been unsure on the response I would get

However I am at a desperate stage and need to save my boy.

So a brief background of what has been happening....

Marley who is a 3 and a half year old gelding has been undergoing treatment by the vet for a huge mass lump the size of a small balloon where his testicals once were, he has become very very poorly.

He is losing an incredible amount of weight and is really poorly in himself.

So he has been given steroids, Anti inflammatory, antibiotics, and blood tests have been done. The vets have said that his outcome is uncertain.

As you can imagine the vet bill for Marley has been creeping up.

I was told if I pay 100 they would send marleys bloods off and set me up a payment plan. So I did this.

I was rejected from a third party payment plan.....not going to lie....probably due to my poor credit rating.

They have said that they will not send his bloods off until the bill is paid

Leaving so much uncertainty for my poor boy.

He needs more medication and his bloods need to be sent to see what is actually going on inside.

I am desperate for help, no matter how small, every penny counts.

I've never done a Go Fund Me before, and it's a pretty scary thing to do in fear of being judged.

However my boy is more important than me so I've decided to go ahead.

I appreciate everyone who follows his journey, all the concern and messages shown for Marley, and the people that have suggested I do this as they would like to donate.
