Friends & Family, here we are again. I can’t believe this. It’s like a recurring bad dream. Marley’s left axillary (armpit) is again swollen, hard, impacted, and discolored. This is what landed her in the ER Vet on 12/18 to the tune of $2400. This past weekend was another $682. I have calls into her primary vet and oncologist. The only thing that helped the last time was Doxycycline.

Full transparency: her insurance kicked in 12/1. I am still paying on oncology check-ups prior to that. I have her on very good supplements and Dr. Harvey’s Paradigm food. I spend at least $300+ a month on good food and supplements. I know she is my responsibility and for me to ask for help again makes me ill. I am super stressed from the constant worrying about her and ultimately losing her. When I adopted her in late 2024, I never anticipated that I would have 20k in vet bills that first year. And the hits keep coming.

She had such a horrible life that I am trying to do everything I can to make her remaining time that of quality, comfort, and spoil her rotten.
