Hi my name is Jess and im fundraising for my beautiful dog Marlene.

Marlene had an accident on Thursday 23rd October, possibly from jumping out of a van or from running but she has ruptured her cruciate ligament, which needs surgery, because of the size of her she has to have TTA (Tibial tuberosity advancement) surgery which is roughly going to cost £3000 possibly more.

Marlene is normally a ball of energy but this has really taken away her character and is now on strict bed rest and the road to recovery is going to be very long. She's in pain but we are managing with pain medication until her surgery which is scheduled for Wednesday.

Myself and my children would love to get Marlene back to her normal bouncy self.

Just wanted to update you on Marlene the x-ray has confirmed cruciate rupture so operation is going ahead. They also found her other leg isnt stable so may need surgery in the future and also found she has hip dysplasia. As you can imagine i broke down in the vets hearing all this. But for now they are concentrating on her broken cruciate.
