Mark has been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in his right tonsil which has spread to his right lymph node resulting in a 5cm secondary tumour.

Surgery is booked at the lifehouse hospital at the end of this month with julia crawford in Sydney.

IPTAAS will reimburse a small percentage of the accommodation so family can be close by. However this bill will still run to nearly 10k as Mark will need to stay in Sydney for weeks.

His partner will also miss out on work to be by his side which will hinder us.

There's still a possibility that Mark will need 7 weeks of daily radiation mixed with chemotherapy if they can not remove all of the cancer.

This is very tough to ask - if anyone can donate to help with accommodation and help his partner be by his side during this difficult time it would be so appreciated.
