Three days after Thanksgiving, Mark was diagnosed with Covid-19. He has been in ICU and has been on a ventilator almost the whole time he has been in ICU. He has gone through numerous ups and downs; but mostly very stressful and dangerous downs with no end in sight to these terrible complications.
Mark is a loving, always ready to smile, and gentle young man with Downs Syndrome. He is not used to being alone without his family, especially his mother who is his caretaker and best friend.  Barbara Stiles is Marks mother and has been his sole caregiver for 41 years.  Mark means the world to his family and has taught them all an unconditional love with his beautiful personality and his endless love.
This virus that has taken its toll on many families, has been devastating for Mark and for his family.
