Please help Mark Snell on his road to recovery.
Donation protected
For those that know my brother Mark or know me and my family but have never met Mark, he is my younger brother, the middle brother of 3 boys born and raised in Totowa, NJ.
December 4th I took Mark to Chilton Hospital having difficulty walking and breathing. Mark was given 2 Covid tests before I took him to the hospital and both turned out to be negative. Within 48 hours of arriving he was sedated and placed on a ventilator.
While on the ventilator for nearly 7 weeks, Mark received a tracheostomy to improve his breathing and he also suffered a stroke. Complications from the stroke forced his team of Dr.’s to perform a cranial operation to better diagnose a lesion on his brain. Doctors put his chance of surviving at 50%.
Survive he did. Mark fought day and night to overcome the odds and the challenges presented to him. He fought for the lives of his 4 boys; Mark, Derek, Joe and Jesse. He fought to be with his wife, Gabrielle. He fought to see our parents again, who now live in Florida. He never stopped.
Mark is now beginning phase 2 of his recovery at Kessler Rehabilitation where he will undergo extensive physical and respiratory therapy.
I’ve created this fund raiser, with Mark’s permission to help him pick up the pieces of his life once he is ready and able to do so. He’s already willing, we know that.
Please help in any way you can. No donation is too small and know it will go a long way toward helping Mark and his family regain a bit of normalcy during this difficult time.
On behalf of all the Snell’s, we thank you whole heartedly.
