On October 6, 2025, our long-time neighbors, Mark Pannkuk and his 23-year-old daughter Lindsay, experienced a devastating house fire that destroyed nearly everything they owned. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but they lost their home, their belongings, and the sense of safety and security that a home provides.

The fire happened late in the evening at their home on Briar Bush Lane in Fort Wayne, IN. In just a few short hours, they went from enjoying a normal night at home to facing the unimaginable; they watched as all their possessions were destroyed by an unpredictable, merciless disaster. Mark, who works full time to support the family, and Lindsay, a student at Purdue University - Fort Wayne, have been struggling to take inventory of their many losses and begin the process of starting over… from scratch.

We’re raising funds to help them with immediate needs such as food, clothing, daily necessities, pet supplies, replacement electronics, medications, etc. If we meet those needs, hopefully we can look to replacing things like furniture and vehicles (they lost two).
