Mark's Medical Expenses & Additional Expenses

Mark was diagnosed with Metastatic/Invasive Mucinous Adenocarcinoma - Stage 4.

This information is taken from Kathy’s post on November 4th: “When Mark had surgery several weeks ago, an 8 inch tumorous mass was found in his abdomen. It had been restricting his small intestine and was the "obstruction". It was removed and signs of cancer were observed in his intestines. He had a small section of his small intestine removed due to Crohn's complications and a portion of his colon due to the mass. His appendix was also removed. He was given an ileostomy to help his intestines, colon, and body to heal.

I put this out there in the metaverse because it is so difficult to dance around his status. And now we don't have to.

Moving forward, we have an immediate plan with our current care team to treat his body and the cancer within it. We are also eagerly awaiting a 2nd opinion from another care team. We know there are tons of ways to treat cancer, but we are planning to move forward with one of our medical teams.”
