Please help Marilyn get treatment for MND

Hi my name is Lorraine Teevan and I am fundraising for my beautiful friend Marilyn O'Connor, one of the kindest, most generous souls I have ever met. Marilyn was diagnosed with MND in August 2022. Since then she has lost the power of her arms and is finding it hard to walk as the disease progresses. Marilyn who is a Mum of 5 has a heart of gold. Earlier this year despite her pain she organised a Valentine's Ball called "Dance While You Can" in Cavan which raised over €18,000 which she donated to MND Ireland. Marilyn is always thinking of others even while she is battling this awful disease. Marilyn is hoping to go to India for Ayurvedic treatment in January.

"Dear friends some of you may know me and some of you may not. Over the last 20 years I have raised thousands of euros for Autism Support, Cancer Research, Domestic Violence Victims, Child Abuse Victims and Motor Neuron Disease. In total I have raised just over €100,000. Now dear friends I am asking if you can help me for my own treatment. I have an opportunity to go to Indian for Ayurvedic treatment. This treatment has been proven to transform people's lives and give them a better quality of life. I would love the opportunity to have the chance to have a longer life and a better quality of life. I know it's a lot but what I am asking is if you could help me raise €20,000 to make this trip & treatment possible for me. I thank you all from my heart."
