Help Marcus Walk Again

Life threw a huge curve ball. It’s not the chapter I was wanting to write. Not now. Not ever.


My son is only 20 years old and faces never having the opportunity to walk again. Any person who ever  met Marcus knows his love of life. He is a kind, compassionate,  full of life person you just want to be around.


On May 3rd, Marcus was at football practice when he made  a hit that would forever change his life.


Unable to move he was transported to a small hospital where it was apparent from the xray this was nothing short of catastrophic.

After the initial surgery and weeks of frustration, few answers, and many questions, we transferred him back to his home town of Austin, Texas to begin the rehabilitation process.

It is unknown whether my son will ever  have the chance to walk again, it’s too early to tell. Right now we are hoping to raise funds to move him to one of 2 top spine rehab facilities which have been recommended.

My son deserves to walk again if there is any chance at all and the technology to help.
