It's been a while so allow us to update you on Marcus.

Here's a summary of his cancer journey thus far

November 2022

Admitted to hospital w/stage IV Classic Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer.

Started chemo while admitted

May 2023

Finished chemo

June 2023

Pet scan showed NEW hotspot on Thymus gland between sternum & lungs

Sept 2023

1st surgery for biopsy sample

Biopsy Results: Inconclusive

Jan 2024

2nd surgery for removal of entire gland

Marcus had difficulties coming out of sedation in recovery.

Dr.s kept him under a clinically induced low grade coma & moved him up to ICU.

Dr.s suspected Myasthenia Gravis Crisis.

He remained in ICU for 3 days.

Biopsy Results: Malignant

Feb 2024

It has been a loooong journey for Marcus & his little family. Surgeries have been extremely difficult because the new hotspot is so dangerously located. We have tried to stay in faith God will carry us through to the all clear. But of course we’re human after all; we worry, we cry, we research, I try to do everything possible to help my kid get through this. Unfortunately, We’ve reached the point I was afraid of again.

We need help, please.

Marcus is the sole provider for his family but is unable to work during this process leaving his family with no income. Disability funds have also been exhausted. Nevertheless, Marcus continues to endure with his beautifully known dimple smile, has stood strong against these waves & perseveres to beat cancer.

The bone marrow transplant cannot be done on the island and has to be done elsewhere in the states where he will have to live for at least 2 months during the procedure.
