Please Help - Mama Nieves Camus’ Medical Fund

Update from the Family as of 02/09/2024:

Mama Nieves has already undergone thyroidectomy. Her esophagus was clipped and her throat diverted so her saliva would not worsen the decay of the esophagus. She will be discharged and will have the last operation after four months.

Hello, my name is Kharren Woods and I organized this fundraising for my dear friend’s mom and family, who has been struggling with medical expenses back in the Philippines. Mama Nieves Camus was diagnosed with esophageal diverticulum, a rare disorder of the esophagus, early January 2024. She has been in and out of the ICU, battling chronic infections and is recommended to undergo several surgeries (i.e esophagectomy, thyroidectomy, tracheostomy). The family is needing a substantial amount of money to deposit to the hospital before she can received further medical care and surgeries.

I humbly ask your support, on behalf of the Camus family, for Mama Nieves’ medical needs. Times are tough right now for many and we understand if you cannot give financially. Nonetheless, your moral support and prayers mean the world to us.
