Please help Malek and his family in Gaza!

My name is Karen, and I am setting up this fundraiser to try and help Malek Hassan and his family. He was introduced to me through another family who we speak with, and they asked if I could help set up a GoFundMe for the Hassan family as life is incredibly and increasingly hard for them where they are right now and they are all traumatised. The

reasom why I want to help? They remind me of my own children, they are exactly the same with the same hopes and dreams. They are living through the most awful nightmare and all I can think is, this could so easily be happening to us. They just want to live a peaceful life. Although we cannot stop what is happening in Gaza, I would like to help them make their current lives more comfortable in the circumstances and hopefully in time things will become easier.

Hello, I am Malek and I am 15 years old and live in Gaza. I live with my parents, my brother and sisters and extended family. I am the eldest of four children, I have a brother who is 7 years old, and two sisters who are 10 years old and 14 years old. There are 18 of us all together in my immediate and extended family and we are struggling to eat and survive.

I used to go to school and lead a normal life which I miss very much. Now everything is very hard and we have very little food to live on.

I hope you can help my family. Our situation is very difficult. We need to buy food and household needs. We have lost our home and our current situation is hard. My parents no longer have jobs due to the current situation and we need money to buy food and I am trying to raise money to support the family’s needs and most likely to move to a safer place .
