Help make my girlfriend hot again.

Super star Erin Lawrie needs your help. In recent months Erin has developed the debilitating disease Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria. (see below for more details).

It has been terrible to see the person I love suffer in pain and emotional distress. Her skin is swollen red, itchy and often bleeding, it hurts her to eat, work, sleep, smile or push me up the road. 

In a constant state of agitation, all routine environments, home and work have fast become problematic. As she is becoming increasingly inflicted, with no end in sight. As such Erin is now unable to work and is receiving minimal sick pay from her job at the National Theatre, London. 

Our wonderful but underfunded National Health Service is unable to help. Cases of “Histamine illness”, are growing exponentially throughout the western world, with a poor understanding of why this is, or what to do about it.

As such, we've had no choice but to seek out cutting edge private healthcare at the British Allergy Clinic - Harley Street, no less. This has been at great cost to ourselves, which we can no longer afford. 

During our first consultation, the doctor on seeing Erin described her as having a severe case. Before commenting on her skin problem. Erin’s IgE "antibody level" is 1420, the average person is at Zero with 20 considered high. They gave us a diagnosis and treatment plan no one else could. 

This relatively new treatment consists of six injections at around £1100 a pop. Again, this isn't available via the NHS. 

These injections must be taken consecutively for it to work, which is why it has been difficult for us to pay for the treatment as we don't have that sort of money available.

Erin needs the treatment as soon as possible. The treatment has a 95% success rate. This is the last treatment available after trying everything else.

We know times are tough, the toughest for many friends & relatives. And to those ppl we say, only give what you can, if you can at all - please do not feel obligated. And If you've come this far, we appreciate you taking the time. It was the title wasn't it?

Chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU), a subgroup of chronic urticaria, is defined as the spontaneous daily, or almost daily, occurrence of itchy hives (wheals), angioedema, or both, lasting for 6 weeks or more. CSU presents a major burden of disease for patients and society with a significantly diminished quality of life.

Erin is the most caring and sweet person I've ever known. A friend to many, she now needs our help.
