Please help Lynn after her terrible fall

On Tuesday April 15th at 12:30am I woke up craving something sweet. I was groggy and missed a step walking downstairs from my bedroom to my kitchen. I crashed onto the landing and experienced the worst pain of my entire life. Being older and living alone this was my greatest fear coming true -- having no one to help me. I spent over an hour edging up the stairs with a shattered kneecap to crawl to my phone and call 911. Firemen had to break into my second floor window to get inside and carry me downstairs. I spent a few hellish weeks at the Bridgeport Hospital in excruciating pain. To say that I oblitterated my knee is an understatement. The bones were shattered in 5 different places. I've had two surgeries and will likely need more in the future. I am currently in a rehab facility but my days here are numbered. I'll need to go home in a few days and desperately need some help making this situation work. I need a motorized stair lift installed and will need some home health care that insurance won't fully cover. I've been told I won't be able to put weight on my knee until mid July. I am unable to work at this time for obvious reasons. I do not like asking for help but I'm in dire need of support.
