please help Luna, she hasn't given up yet

Hi, my name is Lajos, and I'm doing this in hopes of receiving help to save our puppy Luna, who's in need of a third surgery to save and prolong her life. Some of you reading this page might remember us.
ATTENTION: This is a long post, where I share everything and trying to give proof. Therefore the fundraiser will contain photos that might be a bit of a shock to some people (including dog pee/poop with blood).
In December 2023, we got a beautiful husky puppy, Demon.
However, since the breeder had one more puppy left, whose new family stepped back last minute, we took pity as the breeder told us he likely won't find a family for the last puppy then.
That's how we ended up taking in this puppy too, whom we named Luna.
Both Luna and her sibling are beautiful lovely little troublemakers, but a bit before New Years Eve, Luna had problems.
Her pee was constantly dripping, we thought she got sick, a bad cold, or so.
We took her to the vet immediately, where they checked her and gave her some antibiotics. Thorough telling the story here, I'll be sharing all vet documentaries and operation documents, as well their cost just in case, although I apologize, they are in hungarian.
A few days later, as the antibiotics didn't seem to help, we visited another vet, who (after an Ultrasound) informed us, there are bigger problems. Basically her urethra was a bit wide, her bladders were small, and her renal pelvis were enlargened. The vet suspected "ectopic urether" we needed a blood test for SDMA and an excretory urography.
In easy words, as it was explained to me, he was suspecting "her kidneys are doing bad, and her urethra doesn't connect to the bladder, that's why she's dripping."
These were devastating news, because this meant, due the urethra/bladder problems her kidneys and renal pelvis are problematic, and if her kidneys didn't work properly, there was no future for her.
Next step was doing a blood test with SDMA, which is for seeing if her kidneys are working, or as the doctor said, "if it's worth trying to save her". Although the results have also shown she's anaemic, meaning we couldn't waste time.
Luckily the SDMA results came back good!
This means after the operation, she could live a full life, and the doctor said it was "worth" proceeding to save her. Next step was the excretory urography.
The results weren't horrible, but they were really bad. As the vet explained, both sides were bad, regarding the urethra and bladder, so she needed the operation on both sides. Although the photos didn't tell me anything, it might show the problem to others, so I'll share these too.
The next step was contacting the University of Veterinary Science in Budapest, as they have the necessary equipment for the operation. Thanks to the help from the veterinary who helped reach out to the doctor who would do the operation, we got a positive feedback.
They could do the operation, and she has good chances. Her symptoms would be solved in a domino chain effect.
As they "re-tie" her urethra to the bladders, the infectual inflammation in her renal pelvis would gradually heal, which would also let her naturally heal her animism.
At least that was the plan.
Thanks to the amazing community and everyone's hard work, we got her operated.
As it shows on the bill, the operation alone cost 370,000 HuF, which is approx 920€. This does not include traveling, meds post-op and any additional checkups by controls.
One of the urethras was tied to it's place properly as "nature intended", the other sadly couldn't, but the doctor still tied it to her bladder in an alternate way. Her life was not in danger as far as we knew.
However things didn't go as planned. Her pee was still dripping, which got us worried, but there was a chance she would need meds her whole life, so it was expected to an extent.
Once the stitches were removed, and tests were made, we were told she's healing steadily, things aren't 100% okay yet but she needs time. We could also begin with trying the meds for her pee dripping (there were 2 meds in total that could help her).
In the next approx 6-7 months she had to continue living in diapers whenever she was inside or in the car, and at night while sleeping (so her fur won't get soaked in pee).
She had (still has) a returning infection that makes her pee smell super bad, although luckily she doesn't seem to be in discomfort. The vet said that can't be helped and it's pointless to wear her immune system down with antibiotics, as this is due to her still having the pee dripping problem.
In the next half year we tried both medicines that could've helped her, but sadly they didn't. After consulting multiple vets, they even suggested a human medicine to her, which also didn't help.
In september it was time for a new test, which bore bad news.
The urethra "hangs out" all the way to the renal pelvis, that's why none of the medicines helped. One kidney almost doesn't work at all, but the other one is perfect.
The only solution is another operation where the urethra is "bended" with a ring, thereby physically preventing the urine from dripping. This is harmless to the dog's body, but in addition to the dripping, it would allow the various urinary tract and renal pelvis expansions/inflammations to heal over time.
As for her kidney, since only one works, she still needed check-ups after the operation, but the vet assured us, that the other kidney is functioning 100% and, to quote, "is enough for her whole life".
The operation was done on the 9th of December. The operation has cost roughly the same as the first time.
She took the operation like a champion, and healed in a steady manner. It seemed like our lives are finally on track, as after a week of healing, her pee did not drip, and even the vet said it seems good, when we visited to get her stitches removed.
Sadly, after a few days life showed us Luna will need to fight more. While her life wasn't in imminent danger anymore, her pee started dripping again. It was heart-breaking having to put her in diapers again.
Both the clinic and vets told us to try the medicines we tried after the first operation as well, hopefully they would help.
None of them helped, and to further worry us, Luna became very sick.
At first, she had bloody poop and a serious lack of appetite, so we rushed to the vet.
She received a few injections that would help her fight whatever the problem was, because as the vet explained, nothing seemed out of the ordinary, at least nothing new.
In a few days she got better, and life went on again. We slowly started to give up on her ever living diaper-free but at least she was healthy, and was already more than a year old, which was amazing, as initially she would've died at six months old, according to the wet.
As weeks went by, Luna got sick again. This time her piss was full of blood.
Vet results were scary, but first we were told mostly that we need some meds to let her beat the current problems.
Afterwards when she got better, they made kidney tests (blood tests).
The results came out, and they weren't good. In an easier explanation (as it was also explained to me), sadly her bad liver, that didn't even fully develop, wasn't leaving her alone. Since her urethra on that side (the one that was tied with an alternate method as it was too short) was a bit wider, constantly being in a bit of inflamed state, and her kidney was useless, even harmful, she was prone to get affected by bacteries that dogs with normal immune systems don't even feel.
This meant one thing. Her bad kidney needs to be taken out, else it will keep causing similar problems, which will endanger Luna's life later on.
As for her dripping pee problem returning, we consulted the Vet Clinic, and apparently a few weeks after the op, Luna's messy body had a kind of muscle atrophy, which caused her muscles to physically be somewhat smaller.
And that's why, the special material ring that was inserted to "break" the angle of her urethra, became too loose.
After multiple phone calls back and forth, and some more infections wearing Luna physically and us mentally,
we came up with an agreement and plan with the Vet Clinic.
The plan is, Luna needs a third operation, which will be a combinatory op.
One of the things will be, they insert a new ring to stop her pee dropping. I'm a bit skeptical, but we were told it must work this time, shouldn't be any problem.
The other is, the removal of her undeveloped kidney. Since they can do the procedures with less cuts (as it's done in 1 longer op), and some extra kindness, the third op won't really be costier than the first two were.
Meaning we are talking about 1000€ again, exclusively for the operation.
Thus, I'm here to ask the community for help again, because times were tough and we are sadly not in the best position. In 2024 we had to deal with two of our family members fighting against cancer, and this year hasn't been any kinder with 3 months hospitalization and taken out of work for 2025 due therapies and medicines, essentially receiving only aid instead of a full salary.
I understand not everyone can or want to help, even a share is highly appreciated as well as kind wishes. We don't regret taking Luna in as well, because otherwise she would most likely be dead, and we are aware of the responsibilities and costs.
We always do our best for her, even if the multiple daily diapers for 1,5 years so far cost a huge sum. Plus every time she gets sick, vet and med costs are hundreds of € each time.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who read, share or donate to us. Please take some photos of our little Diaper Princess and her sibling.
