Please help Lolo Domeng rebuild his home!
Donation protected
My name is Tina. I am doing this together with my partner, Peter and our kids, Emmanuel and Clara. We live so far away from my Tatay, who my kids call-"Lolo Domeng."
Last year, for the first time in 10 years, they were able to meet my father who single-handedly raised me and my 3 siblings. He worked hard and taught us the value of family, of working together and of believing in possibilities. He is one of the most generous people I know.
Last week, his house was severely damaged by flooding brought about by Typhoon Ulysses. All his belonging buried in muddy waters. His small rental and retail business, which is his source of income, gone. The devastation he and a lot of my family and friends experience is just too heavy to bear.
We are asking you for help. My Tatay said, he is too old now to fight the storm and is finding it hard to start anew. But he is very grateful that he is safe and clinging to his faith and hope that everything will be alright.
We would like to help him build a house that can stand strongly against typhoon and flood. A house that will make him feel safe.
My Tatay always made us feel safe and protected. I feel now is my chance to make make him feel that even when we are so far away.
