Please Help Little Billy Breathe

Well...
First of all we would like to thank you so much for taking the time to click and see what exactly we are asking for donations for. We really appreciate it. We know life is busy and we also understand that most people work very hard for their money and most of us don’t have much, if any to spare, so again, thank you for taking the time to click on our fund raising campaign for our itty bitty Billy Button. :-)
Secondly, we feel it is important to make you aware that we do pay quite a lot of money monthly for pet insurance for ALL of our “woofers”, even our fosters, since our fosters are not covered by any rescue agencies. The long term fosters in our current care are our own financial responsibility until they are adopted into forever homes or until they have lived out their full lives under our love and care. :-)
Now with all that said, regarding pet insurance etc., we have run into a challenge that we could really use help with...
Our little Billy needs an operation and his pet insurance company will not cover the costs because it is related to a pre existing condition that Billy was born with. You see, Billy was born with a Cleft Lip and Cleft palate which means he was born with a hole between his lip and nasal opening and the roof of his mouth leading into his nasal passage. Billy had to have several expensive surgeries while he was growing up in order to repair his lip and palate and close the hole but it seems he needs one more surgery to completely fix the hole. Billy is always getting food stuck in the remaining hole and then he gets congested and swollen up and then he can’t breathe without his little mouth open. His breathing issues keep him from being able to sleep at night. :-( He has sleep apnea because he can’t breathe with his mouth closed and so at night he wakes up gasping for air over and over. The poor little guy is always exhausted because he doesn’t get a good nights sleep and we are very concerned that over time his sleep apnea will cause damage to his little heart and this is why we don’t want to wait any longer to have little Bill’s breathing issues fixed. This poor guy has been through so much in his 4 years of life and we just want to get him all fixed up once and for all so that he can live his best life without any more suffering. He deserves it.
