Little has been my baby girl since June 2009, when I was a junior in high school. She is only 12.5 years old. We have been through so much together, including a recent move from Ohio all the way to Virginia. She has saved me in so many ways and I love her with my whole entire heart.

Shortly before the move we noticed her left eye had some redness and irritation in the tear duct. We contacted her vet and they said she needed to be seen ASAP, so we took her to emergency where she was prescribed antibiotic and steroid eye drops.
After her checkup 10 days later, there was no change in her eye. She was referred to an ophthalmologist who first wanted to try oral antibiotics. Only a couple of days after seeing the ophthalmologist, her eye seemed to get worse to the point that the entire left side of her face appeared swollen. We rushed her to emergency again, where they gave her pain medication and an e-collar, but that was all they could do.
We had a CT scan done as soon as we could, as well as a fine needle aspiration to try to determine what the mass was.

September 24th we saw an oncologist who confirmed it is a cancerous tumor around/behind her eye and now encroaching on her nasal passage. This news was absolutely devastating for me. I was sobbing in the oncologist's office while he told me our options.
The only treatment option feasible for us and for Little is radiation, which is still going to cost us around $10,000. It is a lot of money but her life is worth so much more than money to us. We want to do everything we can to try to give her a happy, healthy life - as much as it can be with this terrible diagnosis.

Little is my world. Anything you can offer to help is greatly appreciated.
