Please help Linda fight this battle with cancer

Good morning everyone and happy holidays. My name is Norma Ingle and I am fund raising for my sister Linda Hird. I have never done something like this but desperate times call for desperate measures. As many of you know never ask for help . I’m usually the one trying to help but my sister was just diagnosed with rectal cancer and she is preparing to fight a battle like no other. So I’m going to battle with her in the only way I can think of. My sister also has Myasthenia Gravis which makes it more difficult because the chemo and radiation that she will start on January 8 2024 will make her disease worsen. Funny how the medication used to fight Myasthenia (prednisone) causes this cancer. It is inoperable so her only choice is chemo and radiation. She is 70 years old is married and her husband is very ill and in rehab. She has full custody of her granddaughter who is 12 years old. She will need to quit her $10 and hour job because she will be unable to work indefinitely. So completely dependent on SS only. Family member have helped her but it’s going to be a battle to keep up with expenses for medical while trying to raise a preteen. I will of course be there physically when needed but as many know we have a mom and aunt in their 90’s that Denise Maria and I are taking care of . All have dementia and my mom has stage 5 kidney disease so we are spread pretty thin. She also lives in Georgia so I can’t help her like I know she will need. I only ask from my sister and all of our family for any assistance you can provide monitarily. Anything is appreciated more than you know. Again Happy holidays and a healthy new year because it’s all we have - our health❤️. Update 2 - chemo delayed because no one administer the meds. Radiologist has the flu. So we start Monday . She is told the 1st week may be managable , skip second week and the third week will be the worse because of her myasthenia gravis . It will be tough. I wish I could be there for her as she has no one to take her to get these treatments and take her home. Our mom and aunt are in bad shape too here.
