Please Help Lilly Get the Care She Desperately Needs

Hi, my name is Martyna and I’m reaching out with an open heart to ask for your help. My sweet cat Lilly, who has been my soulmate and companion for the past 5 years, is suffering from a very rare and aggressive autoimmune disease. With my loved ones living overseas, Lilly has been my constant source of comfort and love through all of life’s ups and downs. We’ve been through so much together, and she truly means the world to me. That’s why watching her suffer now is heart-breaking beyond words.

Lilly is a beautiful lynx ragdoll, once full of life, fluff, and affection. She used to greet me at the door and curl up in my lap but now, she’s a shadow of herself. Her body is under constant attack from within. The disease is causing severe skin damage and painful inflammation. She has open sores and patches of scarring hair loss across her back, ears, and around her face and lower body. Even opening her eyes has become too painful - she keeps them shut most of the time.

She spends her days curled up in silence, sleeping as much as possible because it’s the only thing that brings her comfort and relief from the burning discomfort of her skin.

I’ve already started the long and costly journey toward diagnosis and treatment, but there’s still a long way to go. Lilly needs extensive testing, vet consultations, and ongoing medical care to give her a chance at healing and living without pain. I want nothing more than to see her bright eyes open again and to hear her soft purr when she’s finally feeling safe and loved in her body once more.

I never imagined I’d be in a position to ask for help like this, but right now, I can’t do this alone. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly to Lilly’s care and treatment. Your kindness can give her the fighting chance she deserves - and bring light back into both of our lives.
