Please Help Laurie and Brad Herrling Through This Tough Time

My name is Cindy Herrling Almquist. My brother Brad Herrling and his wife Laurie have been quietly battling Laurie’s severe liver and kidney disease since November. After being bedridden in the hospital and then the nursing home for nearly six months, insurance has sadly declined to continue to support her care in a medical facility.

She is now home where Brad tends to her needs, himself, as much as he can. He’s employed daily residential care and transport care to enable her to attend vital dialysis treatments three times every week but the cost has become insurmountable.

I am starting this GoFundMe as Brad and Laurie find it difficult to ask for the help they desperately need. Now that they are facing a tough journey ahead, we humbly ask for your assistance, if you can, and anything is appreciated. Donations will be used to enable Laurie to continue to obtain the life-saving treatment she needs to survive. We hope and pray that as she does, she’ll be able to have a greater quality of life as she heals.
