Hi Everyone. My name is Karla Blair and I am creating this fundraiser for my dear friend Lauren McConnell. Lauren has recently given birth to her miracle baby, Arya, and is my spirit sister as we walk the road of recovery together. I love her dearly and have volunteered to create this on her and her family's behalf.

Last Thursday, Lauren was rushed to the hospital with severe abdominal pain. She was airlifted to OSUMC by LifeFlight where she underwent her first surgery for bowel obstruction. She had another surgery Friday and has been in the ICU since her admission. Her condition has been touch and go, with infection, a surgical site leak, fevers, and an NG tube only with numerous venous and arterial lines. Justin and Aubree have been going up to be with her as much as they can, and, as you can imagine, this has really caused financial stress for the family as Lauren had just got back to work after maternity leave.
