Please help Lauren get back on her feet!

Hi everyone! My name is Lauren Lyons and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my best friend Lauren Crist. To know Lauren, is to love Lauren! Whether you've sat in her salon chair, shared a meal or a concert with her.. you know she is the most selfless person in the world and would give you the shirt off her back. She has had quite the tough year and has experienced life's many curve balls.

For those of you that don't know, Lauren has an actively growing uterine fibroid with multiple endometriomas growing inside, as well as outside, both of her ovaries. The growing fibroid is pushing onto other vital organs and requires immediate surgery to remove which is coming up on December 15th. Lauren has been in debilitating pain for several months now and has done her very best to power through it. This surgery will be life changing for her! I am creating this gofundme to help alleviate the growing medical bills Lauren is facing as a self-employed business owner with no short term disability. After surgery, she will have a long road to recovery ahead of her. The surgery itself is much more than the starting amount I have requested here, not including the hospital stay, 6 weeks minimum off of work, and growing bills at home with no income coming in.
