Please help Labowski survive cancer

Hello, this is our dear golden retriever, Labowski. He is only 5 years old, but has been diagnosed with lymphoma. Without treatment he would survive only 2 to 4 weeks. It is shocking how fast his condition deteriorated from his first symptoms at the end of November. With treatment the veterinarian oncologist gives him at least another year, and possibly full remission.

Labowski is the sweetest most loving soul we have ever known. He has helped our family recover from our trauma suffered through both my own cancer diagnosis, and the loss of our dear son. We are desperate to keep him here with us as long as possible, and will do anything to achieve that.

Labowski came to live with us just two years ago, with his mom and dad, our daughter Jessica and her partner Donnie.

His treatment will involve a trip to Surrey every week for the next month, then every two weeks for six months. For us that means a full day of travel including BC Ferries. There is no where closer he can recieve chemotherapy.

The full cost of his treatment alone, is estimated to be $20,000. We are already at approximately $5500 not including any travel costs and missed work.

We hope you will be able to help, we know what a very hard time of year this is for everyone, especially in this economy.
