Please help Kyle Ryder & Journee in memory of Abby

Donation protected
Welcome to the page,

My cousin Kyle dedicates each and every day of his life to helping others struggling with addiction. However, despite the service of Kyle and many like him, addiction continues to take countless lives, and it is devastating to those left behind.

On October 25th, the mother of Ryder (7) and Journee (3) lost her battle with addiction (more info here).  Please join me in honoring the memory of Abby Elsner by donating what you are able for the benefit of these sweet children and to help their dad Kyle in time of need.

While Abby pursued treatment, Kyle became sole caregiver to Ryder and Journee, working full time to provide them a home while putting himself through school so he could pursue his calling as a chemical dependency counselor to others.  All who knew Abby and the Elsner family are devastated by her loss including Kyle and the children, who relied on Abby for (among other things) motherly love, financial support, and medical benefits.

While we cannot possibly appreciate the significance of this loss for Kyle, Ryder, and Journee, I encourage those who are able to make a financial contribution to help them through difficult times.

The fundraising goal of $36,000 represents one year worth of expected childcare and medical benefits coverage. All money donated will be utilized to provide care for Ryder and Journee.

If you are unable to donate financial support, please send prayers or help spread the word.

Thank you,
Brett
