Please Help Kimchee Get Treatment

The procedure was successful and Kimchee is currently recovering smooth as buttah. We didn’t want to prolong her discomfort and potentially worsen her condition so we got it done by pulling everything I had in my savings. I’ll be updating this page as per her status and leaving it up in case any generous souls would like to continue helping with the financial recovery.

I know it’s hard thinking of investing so much into an older dog but to me, every penny is worth Kimchee living her best life. To all who have supported us, thank you so much!

Hello, all. My name is Jeannie and I’m writing here today to request help with my dog’s medical expenses. Her name is Kimchee, she’s a sweet and spunky 14-year old Lhasa Apso, and she’s easily the queen of the household.

She had a stressful evening in the Veterinary ER last night (1/4/24) after choking on a piece of bone and now needs an esophageal endoscopy and treatment for aspiration pneumonia, as well as a variety of other scans and tests on top of that.

I’m determined to pay what I can to make sure I go home with her back at 100% spunkiness, but unfortunately my savings are not enough to cover the estimated invoice I’ve been presented with, as my financial situation has been on the decline since my career change (I’m working in the public school system now). My family has been fighting hard to stay afloat during these complicated times and combined with my inability to provide financially for my household, we’re in a bit of a pickle. I hate asking for help like this, but we could really use your assistance.

Kimchee means the world to us. Despite our hardships, she’s what has been keeping us fighting hard to survive. She has been the support and comfort of my household and now we want to be there for her too. I can’t imagine not at least trying for her sake. I’m determined to do whatever I can to get her treated and bring her back to rule over her castle.
