Kim is one of our Alt Fam heroes. She stepped in during Hurricane Harvey and assisted in locating the stranded, knitted countless pussy hats for supporters of the Woman's March and made over 1400 masks and donated them for Covid relief.

Kim was featured in the We Are #AltGov book by Dr Amanda Sturgill for her contributions to the Alt Gov/AltFam resistance movement.

Now she and her family need our help.

Kim was admitted to the hospital Feb 6 with pneumonia resulting from an abscessed salivary gland. After a turn for the worse, testing showed 2 brain abscesses as well. She was just moved from ICU this week.

She is slowly recovering but will need in-home care after discharge. Her husband has Family Leave but it is unpaid. Insurance only covers a portion of the bill.
