Please help Kevin during this unfortunate time…

My father, Kevin Corbin, was involved in a motorcycle accident on September 3, 2023. The vehicle that caused the accident fled the scene and left my father laying injured and disoriented on the side of the road. Witnesses stopped to help him until medical personnel arrived. Unfortunately the state police have been unable to locate the guilty party.

Kevin was airlifted to the nearest trauma center an hour away. He sustained a crushing injury to the right side of his chest cavity that left him with 12 rib fractures and a collapsed right lung. He has a shattered left thumb that has 4 pins holding bones in place, a right foot fracture, and other medical issues that arose.

After 12 days, Kevin was discharged and is at home still trying to recover with an uncertain future. His mechanical job requires twisting, turning, heavy lifting, and use of his hands. His hand is still pinned and in a cast for the next 3 weeks, then will need physical therapy.

Kevin has been out of work since the accident in September and does not yet have a return to work date because of the injuries. He has follow up appointments with specialist and will have physical therapy to attend, all of which require travel an hour away.
