Hi, this is Maria Cathirene Caleon also known as Kei, we are imploring your help to gather funds for her medical needs.

She was an integral part of our PT and Rehab family in a tertiary hospital in the Philippines and a dear friend for almost 20 years. My heart is breaking as I penned this message of plead for she is a vibrant, full of life and with the kindest heart. She would extend a lending hand to anyone in need.

In March of this year during a gynecology routine check up, multiple mass was found in her breast and in her uterus. Subsequently, she underwent total removal of her uterus with plan of removing mass in the breast as well. However 2 weeks after her surgery she complained of constant unbearable abdominal pain. She had numerous lab works done that required multiple and long hospital stays. Doctors found an abnormal mass growth in the pancreas causing acute pancreatitis. She was put on NPO ( nothing by mouth ) and countless medicines through her veins hoping that the inflammation would subside while waiting for right time to operate. The doctors were able to schedule an operation only to find out that the location of the growth were on vital areas that it would be life threatening if chose to continue. Currently she is in a lot of pain from the pancreatic mass leading to chronic pancreatitis affecting gall bladder, bile and liver functions.

Further MRI, biopsy and lab works needed to figure out avenues of treatment.

She has loss weight, appetite and energy to move around.

At present she is on indefinite medical leave with limited financial resources. The staggering medical bills, upcoming procedure as well as treatment causes insurmountable burden to the family.

Ms Kei is a wife and a mother of 1 son and 2 daughters, all in their teens- looking forward to build more memories and enjoy happy days with her.

We are knocking on your giving heart to kindly bless her with your prayers and financial donations for her ongoing medical conditions. It will alleviate her from this mentally agonizing and physically draining medical battle.

Her journey to recovery is lengthy but your love, care, and support will make it much more bearable.
