Help Keira Fight Again – Round Two

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

As many of you know, my brave grand daughter Keira has been through more than any child should have to endure. At just 2 years old, Keira was diagnosed with Anaplastic Ependymoma, a rare and aggressive brain tumor. Against all odds, Keira beat cancer, and we were filled with hope for her future. But now, we are facing another devastating challenge.

Keira recently had an MRI, and the results showed a mass in the same area where her previous tumor was located. The mass is dangerously close to vital functions in her brain, controlling movement, vision, and even facial expressions. Doctors are concerned that this may be a recurrence of the ependymoma or possibly a new condition.

Keira will need  surgery, and her scans have been sent to Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto for a second opinion. While we hope and pray that the mass is benign, there is a very real possibility that Keira will need multiple surgeries and long-term treatment.

We are asking for your help to cover  some  costs and support Keira’s journey. The expenses for ongoing travel, and other associated costs are overwhelming, and we need your support to ensure Keira receives the best care possible.
