Please Help Keep Our Radio Shows Alive!

THANK YOU to all who helped to push us past our radio fundraising goal! While we are still waiting for a final resolution to our data restoration, new shows are on the way, and we are feeling energized. I couldn’t ask for better colleagues, friends, and fans! Today, Out of the Woods Radio and Music for the Mountain Bluegrass suffered a major equipment failure which will require costly data recovery. The shows must go on, so to help defray the costs associated with the data recovery, we are asking for your help. The radio programs do not generate any income. They are a labor of love that many stations and listeners have come to rely on for their weekly programming and/or enjoyment. This is urgent.

After the equipment failure, nearly 3 years of new and recent release music have become inaccessible, along with edited show files, and other related files which are needed to bring you timely new shows every week.

Moving forward once the data is recovered, extra care will be taken to back up this data for the future. Some data still existing on older drives will enable us to hobble along temporarily with repeats and older material. It is the new material however that keeps the shows relevant, so this data must be recovered!
