Our brother, Sam, was in a tragic motor vehicle accident when he was a young man. He suffered many broken bones and head trauma resulting in permanent brain damage. He spent many months in recovery and his young wife, unable to cope, divorced him.

Sam’s childhood friend, Mark, (not his real name) convinced Sam to buy a modular home on property in a small town in CA. Sam covered the entire cost of the purchase but convinced by Mark, put Mark’s name on the deed.

Only a couple of years after the purchase, Mark died in a house fire.

Sam has lived in the home and for 30 years paid property taxes until Mark’s mom decided she needed money and was going to sell Sam’s property. Somehow, without notice of any kind she was able to transfer the property deed to herself and has decided to kick Sam out to take and sell the property for her own gain.

Our purpose for this Go Fund me account is to help Sam to raise enough money to buy her out and allow Sam to live out the rest of his days in his home. We have raised a few dollars so far, but need a bit more to make an offer that she will accept. Please help us reach this goal to keep a disabled guy from being homeless.
