Greetings, I am a Jamaican graduate student studying in the U.S. on a scholarship and a proud mom. While my own tuition is covered, I am also financing my younger sister’s college education who I sponsored and take the responsibility for in the U.S. She doesn’t have a scholarship, and her bill is at least $10,000 USD each semester. On a student budget, carrying both of us has become impossible to sustain, but I refuse to let finances be the reason my sister has to drop out of school.

We are the only two siblings from our immediate family attending college, and helping her finish is deeply important to us. My sister is working hard toward her degree, and I’m doing everything I can to keep her on track. Still, the gap each term is too large to meet alone. Please I am genuinely asking for your support so she can stay enrolled and graduate. Every dollar will go directly to her tuition and required fees.
