Please help keep me from eviction!

Hello,  as many of you know, my mom just passed away from pancreatic cancer at the end of June. I had been caring for her for the past 7 years and we lived in a 2bdr apartment for which she paid 2/3 rent.

In addition to caring for her, I worked at a preschool, but my hours were cut because of Covid and are barely now recovering.  So along with the loss of her social security, which covered part of the rent, and my low hours and pay, as well as having to take 3 weeks off work to care for her 24/7 while in home hospice, I've been left behind one month of rent. To make matters worse, my apartment charges $15 a day in late fees ( welcome to landlord- friendly Arizona!) . I've contacted countless rental aid agencies and I get the same answer: they no longer administer rental assistance. The sole one that does is flooded with calls on the one day a week they make appointments.  Ive tried 2 weeks in a row and haven't gotten through. As I've said, the moratorium on evictions ends July 31st. I've worked so hard the past few years to build a good rental history and decent credit and If I'm evicted, ill lose all that and with the cost of housing, ill probably end up in a residential hotel. 

Good news is,  I've found a roommate and I'm getting more hours, so I'll be able to pay from August forward on my own.

I know this is a hard time for everyone, but anything you can contribute would mean so much to me. I don't like to beg, but I'm running out of time and ideas. I dont want to end up panhandling at WholeFoods ( true story from a friend). So I have to set my pride aside and ask for your compassion and generosity.
