Hello all you lovely people out there. We hope you are not struggling too badly with the current situation: we understand it’s a very tough time for all; and we empathize deeply.
Unfortunately, for our great friend Lita, things are so tough- it has become a matter of life and death; so we humbly ask for your help.
Lita is a young, First Nations, single Mother and member of the LBGTQI+ community. She has always been very giving to not only her own community; but also to anyone in need. In her own time, and of her own accord, she advocates for anyone in need; and is continuously giving what she can to people around the World.
Sadly, Lita is dying, and due to issues within the Government: it is happening a lot faster than expected.
In 2015, Lita was struck down by a motorist, leaving her with horrid injuries; and the inability to care for herself and son, without the assistance of others. The following is a list of just a few of the injuries she suffered:
A muscular-skeletal Degenerative DiseaseA neurological degenerative diseaseAn Acquired Brain Injury (she is missing part of her frontal lobe)EpilepsyBroken back, neck and many other bones (E.g. her feet were crushed)Loss of sight, hearing and speechInability to move much (she can only be moved with the aid of a wheelchair if she needs to go to hospital for treatments)
She can’t shower, dress, cook, clean; and perform many other tasks for herself. Lita needs many, MANY treatments and medications to keep her alive; and should have 24/7 support.
If you can find it in your hearts to find even a few dollars- you’d be not only keeping this beautiful person alive, but you’d have our eternal gratitude!
Here’s where you have the opportunity to help please:
Due to the *MASSIVE*Government error, Lita’s case slipped through the cracks of the National Disability Service; and she is now homeless.
The Sheriff will arrest her; auction her personal possessions; and take her to county lockup. We believe this illustrates how broken the Australian System is- a Woman who is dying from her injuries; can be left with nothing; living in a car with her assistance animal; unable to receive care and medical treatment; and no means of income.

Lita has literally NOWHERE to go: no family or friends are able to take her in. She’s too Disabled for Crisis Accommodation- her social worker has applied to hundreds of places for her to stay in, but she has been rejected by all.
After lengthy discussions, the only option which will potentially save her life, is to try and purchase her a caravan. A caravan would give Lita not only shelter and safety, but she would be able to continue receiving care, and SOME medical treatments.
This Woman has suffered tremendously; she is in great danger- some of the things she has had to endure:
Domestic Violence (both her and her child)Her apartment has been robbedShe has been assaulted numerous times, including sexually, as she can’t defend herselfHate crimes; and many other atrocities
After all that happened to her: Lita continues to smile. We’re asking for your assistance, because she never would.
