Our 8-year-old baby boy, Kayden James, was recently rushed to the Vet ER due to internal bleeding. They found three masses in him: one on his spleen and two on his liver. We have been suspecting something has been going on because we know him very well... But the vets told us, twice, that he was okay, only to find that he has not been okay.
We have until Monday, October 6th at 7:30 am to reach our goal. We have exhausted our savings for testing and medications. We even applied for Care Credit, but now we have come to the path of the road where we need to let our guards down to ask for help. We have had time to process things and still have gone to work every day this week since the incident happened. It’s hard, but we will not stop fighting and taking it one step at a time until we know that we have exhausted all of our options.
Roger and I walked into a pet store for fish food and walked out with him instead. I still remember how he smelled and how we thought he was a female until right at checkout when we found that he was a male. We had to switch all the stuff we picked out for him to male stuff (leash, collar, etc.).
Kayden has played a huge part in our lives, and we know that he won’t be with us forever, but we are pushing for this one final push to have this operation early next week so we can spend just a little more time with him.
Please share this with your friends/family. We have until Monday morning! God's will be done.
