Dear Supporters and Beloved Community,
At HM157, our passion for art, music, and community has been the heartbeat of our home for 15 remarkable years. Today, we face an
urgent crisis threatening our existence. The specter of closure looms over us due to a series of setbacks, including substantial fines from
city inspectors and the urgent need to rebuild our deteriorating
stages .
This unique haven, our sanctuary for creativity and compassion, has weathered storms, hosting free music events, movie nights, fashion
shoots, and extending a helping hand to the homeless during the pandemic and beyond. However, these challenges have pushed us to a
precarious edge, endangering our ability to continue our mission.
We turn to you, our cherished community, in our hour of need. Your support can make an immeasurable difference in preserving the legacy
of HM157. Every contribution, no matter the size, will directly aid in repairing our stage, addressing city fines, and ensuring that our doors remain open to continue nurturing artistic expression and
community support.
With your generosity, we can sustain this invaluable space that has served as a beacon of creativity and compassion for all who walk
through our doors. Together, let's write the next chapter of HM157’s legacy, safeguarding its place in Los Angeles history.
Join us in this crucial endeavor, and together, let’s ensure that HM157 continues to thrive as a cultural cornerstone in our city.
