Please help Kate with her recovery journey

On the Sunday, 17th of July our dear friend Kate (Katrina) was involved in a severe motorcycle accident. She sustained multiple injuries and a severe traumatic brain injury.

For the last few weeks she has been kept in an induced coma in Liverpool ICU as she underwent multiple surgeries fighting for her life.

Being the tough person that we know, she has pulled through the critical period. She is just only starting to wake but she is yet to regain full consciousness or function.

Her brain injury is extensive and it is uncertain how much functionality she will be able to recover at this stage.

What's clear is that she has suffered a life changing injury. Her rehabilitation will be very long and difficult and the ongoing care that she will need will be extensive.

This GoFundMe page has been set up to support Kate and her family to help ease some of the financial impact as she embarks on her recovery journey.
