This is Katrina (one of my dearest friends), and her daughters, Daelyn and Mia. They have suffered a great loss due the death of Katrina's significant other. He had a month long battle with cancer that not only destroyed him but Katrina as well. I've always known her to be hard-working and amongst the most caring, empathetic, resilient and loving women I know. While she is devastated with losing the love of her life, she is left in a position of financial devastation as well. They were left with little time to plan and missed work due to their fight against cancer. I know she will get on back on her feet in time but her need is immediate to keep their home for herself and her children. Understandable that times are difficult for all, however any amount no matter how big or small is appreciated.
