Please help Katie to walk again!

Hello, my name is Lori Pellham. I am fundraising for Katie Mellon-Conner. I have known this young lady since “before” she was born. Her older brother and my son are best friends, so we have known this family for over 30 years.

Katie was a very active young lady! She had a dream life with her horses, cattle and new husband. They got married in May of 2021. She worked so hard to make that life. And they were enjoying it so very much.

But now her life has changed drastically. On September 21, 2021, she went to a back surgeon for what should’ve been a routine surgery to repair a ruptured disk. She walked in to the hospital but has not walked since. She has severe nerve damage and other issues from the surgery and needs constant care.

She was fired from her job because she couldn’t return to work and therefor has lost her insurance.

She will be traveling to The Texas Back Institute for more diagnostics and treatment, if possible.

We are asking her friends and family to help her get the help she needs by contributing to this fund.

We all know God has her in His Hands but at the same time, we are called to be the hands & feet of God to help each other. Galatians 6:2 tells us to “Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the Law of Christ”.

We also know we have to be patient and that through this trying time, God has a plan…..He always has a plan.
